#MM Southern Rock On

In the early eighties, I saw The Charlie Daniel's Band in concert.
Now in 2014, he's still performing for a new generation as my son goes to see him.

Here's another one that I used to love to listen to. I had the album and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I didn't think Lynrd Skynyrd played anything but Sweet Home Alabama, hahaha! Free Bird was interesting. And The Devil Went Down to Georgia had me breathless - love it too.

Thanks. Your music had me moving this Monday for sure!

Oh wow that's a blast from the past. I had no idea Charlie Daniel's was still singing. My dad loves him.

You hit this on the head. When you think southern, CDB is the FIRST to jump to mind. And nothing fits the genre more than Freebird.

I am not at all surprised that we listened to the same music. I still listen to Charlie Daniels. I am surprised he is still performing though.

Oh my gosh!! I LOVE that song!!! The Devil Went Down to Georgia - We used to dance around my grandma's kitchen while grandpa played the violin to this. One of the greatest songs ever written.
