#MM That Inappropriate Mind of Mine

As I listen to the news about the horrors happening halfway around the world, I can't help but think about Bob Seger. The earthquake was devastating causing many to parish. These people need our prayers, but still Bob Seger keeps playing through my head. I'm sorry my mind turns to peppy songs at inappropriate times, but maybe that's just a way to deal with tragedy. So here's what's in my head. Praying for the victims of the disaster in Katmandu.

I hope I don't start humming this next one when I hear of a horrible school shooting. This song's bouncy beat is totally inappropriate to its content, but you gotta admit, Stacy Uncorked, the guys in Foster the People are as hot as a country star. Whoo-baby!

Do you like my font? I finally broke down and bought a license to use all of Jenny Jones' Hello fonts. I'm now making my #TPT products with cute fonts and revising many.

Your fonts are nice. Wish the news had some good news. It seems tragedy and calamity are on the rise.

I am not sure your fonts are coming through they way you want them too. They look nice, but not "cute and fun" like I think they are supposed to.

So sad about Katmandu, isn't it?

LOVE your choices - especially the second one. ;) And yes, the dudes in Foster The People are definitely eye-candy! :)

I haven't heard the second song. Your first comments though reminded me of my brother-in-law. When he gets nervous or upset he laughs. He laughed when he was in trouble as a kid too. He doesn't mean any harm at all by it, and he doesn't even think what he's laughing at is funny (I guess it's a way to deal or break tension) but it sure gets him in hot water sometimes.

I didn't see the fonts, but maybe it's just my computer playing around.

I didn't even know Bob sang that song.

Thanks for sharing your tunes. Sometimes the mind has it's ways of coping.

Aloha :)

I think I may have missed your fonts. Anyway, the world is so messed up so just to have some music that picks us up even if it seems inappropriate is needed.

Thanks for the music!

The tragedy in Nepal is overwhelmingly sad. Music is a great escape for grief. Katmandu I know, but Pumped up Kicks is catchy new-to-me tune that I'm digging. Sorry for the late visit. The A2Z challenge is spreading me a bit thin. Have a good week!
