My Mall Excursion

My mother in law gave me a Macy's gift card for my birthday. Although I love new things, going in a mall before Christmas is not high on my fun meter. It ties with blood drawn, Mr. Armstrong's high school history class, or running trails in the Cross Country race. You can keep Stenky Creek!

Now that another Christmas has passed, I ventured back to the mall. I don't think I've been there since before Halloween. Spending a day at a mall meant material for my humor blog.

Did you know that for a mere $38, one can buy one's very own Michael Kors rabbit foot? Of course if you want toe nails, you're out of luck. Those must be extra.

And if you haven't thrown out enough money with your defective rabbit's foot, you can spend $58, plus tax, on a coin purse. The fact that this object is on the shelves for that price is pretty humorous.

Going through the mall, I spotted a manikin whose pants needed to be pulled up. Hey! It could be worse. One plastic chick wore NO pants.

Finally, I took a picture of, of, well you can decide what it is. It needs some sparkles to keep up with Elvis. I hope the lady who wears this shops at Victoria Secret for pretty underwear because it will show with this outfit!

Oh, and by the way, I bought exercise pants, a wallet, and a six dollar shirt. I still have $8 left on my gift card, too. Whoo hoo!

Going to malls is not high on my thrill list, either. Sometimes i wonder who buys this kind of stuff! You spent wisely, and i hope you enjoy your purchases and have a Happy New Year!

We went on boxing day for the sales. It's probably the busiest NZ shopping day. But we stuck to our list. We didn't find anything as cool as that Elvis outfit.

Whew, that's a lot of coin to hold your coins. I'd have passed on that one too. ;) Happy belated Birthday too. Smart to get that shopping done after Chrsitmas. :)

So you're saying you didn't buy that 70's disco suit?
