Wordless Wednesday: It's All Greek to Me

Admit it, you were one.
How does a GDI like me end up with three Greek kids? Must be that fraternity boy I married.

While in college, our son enjoyed the "Animal House" feel of his fraternity at CofC.

Our middle child is proud to be a Zeta at Maryland!

Last Saturday, our youngest accepted a bid to AEPhi at UCF!

When I was in school I rushed four sororities on an icy evening. Not wanting to kill myself in heals, I wore my hiking boots. The gossip got back to me. "Did you hear? Someone wore hiking boots to rush!"

"Uh, that would be me." The Greeks don't take no freaks . . . but they take their offspring. ;-)

Did I get that right?

  2. At least I have an excuse. I know they were put out by my shoes, which is better than they just plain didn't like me!

We did have fun. Who needed a sorority when WE were living together?

  10. It all seems like a foreign world to me. All art colleges do not have such groups. I had friends that went to other schools that were in a few.

  12. My mom did the whole Greek thing in college...Kappa Delta all the way! I went a slightly different route and pledged a co-ed service fraternity named Alpha Phi Omega. It fit better with my will to change the world, one volunteer project at the time! Glad to see your kids making their way through academia!
