Wordless Wednesday: Fine Print
This sign hangs in Ikea.
Note message in lower right corner.
Dang! I was looking forward to a room-sized hot dog for 50¢.
Room sized and for only 50 cents. That really would be a deal. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Okay, that really made me laugh out loud. My husband just turned and asked what was so funny and when I answered "a giant hot-dog" I got the giggles all over again. Thanks for the laugh.
So funny, Joyce! Aw, what a letdown. I wanted a bite. Can't you share? Geesh! So selfish keeping your mega hotdog to yourself. :(
Everything is megasized in Ikea. Just went to the one in Ottawa recently and found it like an African safari trekking through there. Quite the adventure.
Haha love signs like this. But my favorite is the sign at the Alligator Farm that says "No swimming" then one right behind it a sign that says "Alligators present". Well I would hope so since I paid 12 bucks a piece to see some alligators but man the bath suits make us look like fools now.
LOL! That is one big dog!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had an Ikea here!
Me, too! We were out of town.
DeleteHaha nice one :)
ReplyDeleteROTFLMAO that's hilarious heheh!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back looks like your good to go as they say lol
You know some dumbass actually complained about that for them to have to put a disclaimer up there like that.
ReplyDeleteYes, the whole family can dine for 50 cents!
ReplyDeleteI guess they don't want a lawsuit for false advertising (which a loophole could possibly allow the person suing to win). ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha - that is funny that they felt the need to add that part!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Good one Joyce!
ReplyDeleteHysterical! And, I agree with Theresa; I'll bet that's exactly what happened!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Joyce!
Hahahaa! Yup, you could feed a family for a month on that big guy ;)
ReplyDeleteFaythe @GrammyMouseTails
Now that is riot! Thank God they cleared that up!
ReplyDeleteThat would make a great meal for the family.. hysterical billboard.
ReplyDeleteWe coulda halved it!
ReplyDeleteWell, duh! I would think that would be obvious. I can't believe they had to put that on the sign.
ReplyDeleteWhat a disappointment!
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is, someone will try to sue them if they didn't add that little disclaimer.

ReplyDeleteYou don't say!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW, Joyce!
LOL Imagine having to point that out!
ReplyDeleteBahahaha, can you imagine?!?!
ReplyDeleteHa! I wonder if anyone has ever made a hot dog that big?!

Ha ha!!! Love that disclaimer - cause you never know, eh?
ReplyDeleteOkay, that really made me laugh out loud. My husband just turned and asked what was so funny and when I answered "a giant hot-dog" I got the giggles all over again. Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteWhen I looked at the first photo, I thought it said actual size :)
ReplyDeleteAwww schucks! Funny!

Hahahahaha - that hangs in our local Ikea, too. Sad that they have to put such an absurd disclaimer on the sign.
ReplyDeleteToo funny!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I was going to get in line for this. That note spoiled the fun. Haha!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wordless Wednesday from the Philippines! ;o)

ReplyDeleteI've dreamed of a cheeseburger that big. But you'd need a giraffe-sized bottle of Tums after that dog.
ReplyDeleteDid I mention I've dreamed of cheeseburgers that big?
Haha, you got me for a moment, I actually thought it will be a real size one. Imagine de feast :)
ReplyDeleteI would expect that from Ikea :)
LOL that would be one big hot dog!! This is brilliant.
