Missed It

Every Tuesday night, I post my Wordless Wednesday and visit multiple sites; however, last night that didn't happen. I even had the post written, but I didn't want to waste it when not visiting anyone. I had a very special top-secret mission to accomplish. If the mission is a success, I'll fill you in. If not, I wasted over four hours, but I've thrown away lots of time in my life, so what's four more hours? At least I didn't throw away time by smoking. I don't smoke.
However, I do waste time in front of the television set. Wheel of Fortune is on. Ever notice how everyone says I'm married to my wonderful husband/wife? Wouldn't it be fun to hear a different adjective. Oh, wait. That's the Jerry Springer Show.

 So what do you think my very special top-secret mission involved? No, I did not apply to be on the Wheel of Fortune Show. Nor, did I try out to be Wonder Woman's understudy in her new movie. If you haven't heard about her new movie, it's because I just made that up. 

 One thing great about the internet is I can't hear you whine about me not telling you what I did last night.

    Good guess, but I'm much too old for that. Plus, I had a hysterectomy two years ago.

    Well four hours isn't long enough to go to the moon, so it couldn't have been that. Maybe you entered a book-publishing contest and had to write short story for it.

    I wish, Rhonda, but no. Erica and I are planning a three day jaunt to Hot Springs, Arkansas. That's the best we can do right now when it comes to vacations. That two hour drive will be the first time I've gone somewhere, without another purpose, in a lot of years. I wish I had the luxury of being able to travel the world, but we've been too extended putting kids through college. My four hour maneuver was not for fun.

    Amazing? Time will tell.

    Sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do because of circumstances out of our control. This was one of those times. Hopefully, this was the best choice for me. It wasn't easy to decide. If it doesn't work as planned, I am sure my destiny is supposed to go in another direction, and that will be okay, too. Waiting for an answer.
