      This is the draw of the restaurant. They give customers a cup of toothpicks and straws. The game is to blow a toothpick hard enough to get it stuck in the ceiling. It's not easy. Instant entertainment.

    Ok, so I read your comment about how the toothpicks get up there in the ceiling, and now I just have to know if anyone has accidentally Inhaled, when they should have Exhaled.....and some freak toothpick accident occurred?
    just how my mind works...

      I have never known of any toothpicks to fall or anyone getting hurt. The local chain has been doing this for years, and that's their popular appeal. Once one gets a toothpick in the ceiling, I believe it's there for the year. Once a year, they take them all down & count them. People enter a contest to guess how many toothpicks there are in the ceiling, and there are three prizes of a couple hundred dollars each. The rest of the money is donated to the Memphis Zoo.
