#MMMM Wonderful Places!

Musical Monday is all about songs with places in their titles. I would love to travel to these places this summer, but whoa is me, I'm not going to any beaches or mountains.

This song is in honor of my daughter Erica who is spending a good part of her summer in the Colorado Rockies. I wish I could join her!

In honor of Erica, I will also feature her beautiful clipart. She is quite talented and even bakes adorable and delicious cakes. Here's the one she made for Cinco De Mayo. If anyone lives in Atlanta, she will be moving there and needs some buyers for her cakes.

I love her movie clip art, too!

Hi Joyce,
I so love John Denver! and Rocky Mountain High is such an awesome song. Great way to start the week!

And I really like your daughter's movie clip art. Really fun! I'm a huge movie person so anything to do with movies I enjoy...

Have a good week. Nice to "meet" you!

Oh My gosh! I completely forgot about John Denver. And what a shame, too, because I live here in Colorado now. Thanks for playing this week!

Joyce,

I like John Denver's mewsic! He has a lot of good ones. One of my favorite's "Country Roads" because he sings about my home state. :) Your daughter is very creative and talented. She did a fab job on the cake. Does she have her own bakery or will she in Atlanta? It's so hot and humid here!! I would complain about it but I know how quick the seasons change, so I'm trying to enjoy it instead of whinning. :) Thanks for dancing with the 4M gals and for visiting, dear friend. Have a summertastic day!

I remember when Cocktial-Kokomo came out. That was back before Tom Cruise went wacky. Ha!

My parents listened to John Denver a lot when I was growing up.

I have a pretty major surgery coming up on the 23rd. I have a major deviated septum (worst the doc has seen) and polyps that are close to my brain and eyes. Ekkk! Anyhow there are a few things I want to do: Make stuff/handouts and projects for the TeachersPay Teachers, work on more artwork for a book I'd like to make, also get my Education Certificate, so I can sub. I have my masters, and teach college level right now. Goals, but I have to get through surgery first. Watch them hit my eyes with a sharp thing, then I've got to change what I do totally. That's not what I want to happen. Thankfully I'll be in a CT scan, while the surgery is going on.

I would love to buy her cakes, but it's a little far away.

She's still looking at different places. Let me know if you need a cake. :)

It's been so many years since I visited the Rocky Mountains. So beautiful, and I love John Denver as a singer. John could make me long for country roads, and I grew up in New York City! Happy to discover your blog through Music Moves Me. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
