Since this is Labor Day, here are some fitting tunes for Monday Music Moves Me.First up is a great tune from 1966, "Working in A Coal Mine," by Lee Dorsey.
Next up, here is another tune for the worker. This one is more recent because it's from the 1975 movie, "Car Wash" and features Rose Royce.
This last one is for all of the teachers dealing with a new school year, either with a lot of ppe concerns or teaching remotely. Here's a little encouragement from Devo with "Whip It."

Nice songs
I chose the Devo cover of Workin' in a Coal Mine so it was nice listening to your selections. Thankful that Devo's co founder survived COVID-19. One could say he....no, I'm not going to say it. Happy to see you back with some music.
You really kinda hit the nail on the head didn't ya! Haven't heard these in a while. Great job and Happy Labor day to you and yours! hugs
Have I been here already... hmmmmm Well, love your tunes again if I was. Love Car Wash! So fun! HAPPY LABOR DAY!
Joyce,
"Working in the Coal Mine" is an energetic tune. My daddy, grandpa, late FIL, and many other relatives worked in the coal mines of southern WV. It's hard, dirty work but the pay was good back in the industry's heydays. Thanks for sharing the 4M dance floor with us. I can't believe it's September already. Stay safe, be well, and have a boogietastic week, my dear!
Did you alter the font on your website? The print in your post is so small it's difficult to read.
