Fun quiz and it looks like I am in the tribe. :)
I got two right.
I've been wanting to try matzah bread.
What's a haroset?
apples, wine, cinnamon, nuts, sometimes honey -- people make it in different ways
I got one right. Does that mean I'm 25% Jewish?
I guess I'm part of the tribe :)
Actually, my nana was raised jewish, and semi-celebrates Passover, but I think it's just because of the food :)
I got all but the first. I never heard of haroset, so I Googled it and I do recall it now. I answered "matzah balls" on that one but it's just matzah, isn't it - unleavened bread. (I got very interested in Judaism a few years back and spent about three months researching it.) So I'm 3/4 Jewish!
Drat. I got zero. I need to brush up on my Jewish. So much for growing up in New York. Very educational Joyce!
The teacher in you loves quizzes, yes?
Enjoy the holiday. :)
I got a few right. I work with someone that is Jewish. She's talked about some of the traditions before.
I got a few right. We are preparing for Holy Communion with our 7 year old. This is a special time of the year. I love Easter!
lol - That was fun:)
