Good on you Joyce :-)PS: You forgot to add your link to my Linky.....tuts :-)
I try to but my veins are little and they dig!!! Yuck. Still do it though
Excellent challenge and good on ya! :)
Good on ya!
I really need to do that! I'm like Teresa though. They always have a hard time hitting my vein. Love your suggestion for an additional watermelon experiment on my blog! ;)
Well done Joyce! :) :) Well done!
Good for you! I was turned away the first time I tried because my veins are so bad. :(
Way to go!Unfortunately, there is no way i will be able to donate blood. First, there is my aversion to needles (which has gotten better after having 7 children). Then there are my small, deep veins. And, I just found out when I had my surgery a couple of weeks ago, I am anemic (which explains the fatigue, lightheadedness, and dizzyness). At least now I have a better excuse than being afraid of needles.
That's great that you can do that. I tried donating plasma once. They had trouble finding my vein. They didn't give me anything to eat or drink afterwards, and I passed out. I'm lame.
Way to go! The girl's school has an annual blood drive, but I can't donate because of my autoimmune disorder. I always feel bad when I can't, but am glad there are others like you who can and do!
I donated plasma and found myself so weak I decided this maybe was not a good thing for me to do. But I admire you for being able to.
Good on you to donate blood. I haven't tried it yet as I have a phobia of needles.
Right now they don't want my blood, but I have donated many times in the past. Well done Joyce.
Awww amazing way to help =)
Unfortunately I cannot give blood due to the illnesses in my family & my condition, but you go girl. Proud ta know ya my friend!
It's a great thing to do if you are able to.
Thank you for donating! They won't let me any more, and it makes me sad.
