A-Z Meets Babies with Letter B

Who didn't read my entire post yesterday and congratulated me on my pregnancy?

No woman my age would want a crying pee-shooter keeping her up in the middle of the night. Now grandchildren would be different, you can love on them and then give them back. So, NO. I'm not going in the history books for having a baby after a hysterectomy, although I did read about this happening in rare cases when women kept their ovaries.

None-the-less, I'd love to have a human grand baby one day, but for now, I have to settle for grand dogs. Don't get me wrong, I love Ruby and Mowgli. They even let me sleep at night when they come for visits, but they aren't human.

However, we have set rules for our kids to follow before giving us grandchildren.

         1.  The kids must be married to have babies.
Although I advertised for a wife last year on my son's birthday, he is still single. Dating a sweet girl, but single, none-the-less.

          2.  The kids must have a college degree to wed.
Two down, one is over halfway through.

So perhaps we're getting close. Anyone want to marry my beautiful and educated children and make human babies?

The pregnancy joke is kind of being over done over on Facebook this year. It was funny a few years back, but now so many people do it that it's more annoying than funny. Or completely annoying.

Stopping by from the A-Z Challenge. Fur babies are nearly as good as grand babies as you aren't kept up all night but you get to keep them 24/7.

I like the requirements that have to happen before any babies are made - I might have to share these with my boys!!!
I have already told them that I have no plans to raise any more babies!!!

you did almost fool me -- just for a second.
I just realized that I do not know anyone single! Pretty much everyone we hang around with is married. Or, they might be single - but because divorced with children.

LOL - I congratulated you, but I think you could tell from the rest of the comment it was a joke. My babies are littler than your babies, so no grand babies anytime soon around here, assuming they follow your sensible rules.

Dogs are just as good. ;-) I have a dalmatian. I should probably start thinking about having children before I dry up ...

I think I like having the furry kind of babies over the human ones any day. A lot less back talk. However, sometimes I think they are on equal footing when it comes to the messes they make.

I understand the preference for furry babies rather than pee-shooters. And your furry babies are adorable!

Both my grands have my exact same dark brown eyes. My daughter looks just like me and her new baby girl looks like her. It's very cool. :-)
