Wordless Wednesday: Running Through the Lights

Saturday night, we ran a 4K through the Starry Nights exhibit at Shelby Farms with 1,600 of our friends. I tried to take pictures of the beautiful light exhibits, but since it was a race, I couldn't stop running while snapping. Because I'm such a fast runner, the photos are blurry; but, enjoy them none-the-less.

The Start: See how the sign reads "Starry Nights?"

We ran through a beautiful tunnel!

This is a music exhibit. See the "Beetles?"

We ran through another light tunnel.

We saw stars hanging from trees.

These are really cool shots. I am also impressed that you run so fast, so far (I couldn't do 4K) and mostly that you have 1601 friends. (Notice I added myself since I wasn't there.)

You did a great job! Those lights are so beautiful. Thanks for hosting.

These are really cool. I took pictures while we were driving around looking at lights Sunday night. I took a few while moving and almost shared them, then decided against it. I'm rethinking that now.

The blurriness is a nice effect!

What an awesome idea to run in a Christmas lights park. I find you are very coordinated to take photos WHILE running in the dark and being distracted by the beautiful lights. I might have been taking a photo of the sidewalk if I was trying to do all those things. :) LOL

Beautiful pics! They tell a great story, and isn't that why we take pictures??

Claudia Willison said...

Yes, they are blurry, but you have got the perfect excuse and some of them look like great abstracts.

Love the concept - very funny, and colourful! Now if I were taking them they wouldn't be blurry because my run is more like a walk than a run :)
