This sign hangs in Ikea.

Me, too! We were out of town.

You know some dumbass actually complained about that for them to have to put a disclaimer up there like that.

Leovi said...

Yes, the whole family can dine for 50 cents!

I guess they don't want a lawsuit for false advertising (which a loophole could possibly allow the person suing to win). ;)

Unknown said...

Haha - that is funny that they felt the need to add that part!!!

Unknown said...

LOL! Good one Joyce!

Hysterical! And, I agree with Theresa; I'll bet that's exactly what happened!
Blessings, Joyce!

Faythe said...

Hahahaa! Yup, you could feed a family for a month on that big guy ;)

We coulda halved it!

Well, duh! I would think that would be obvious. I can't believe they had to put that on the sign.

What a disappointment!

Funny thing is, someone will try to sue them if they didn't add that little disclaimer.

Room sized and for only 50 cents. That really would be a deal. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Ha ha!!! Love that disclaimer - cause you never know, eh?

Okay, that really made me laugh out loud. My husband just turned and asked what was so funny and when I answered "a giant hot-dog" I got the giggles all over again. Thanks for the laugh.

When I looked at the first photo, I thought it said actual size :)

Awww schucks! Funny!

So funny, Joyce! Aw, what a letdown. I wanted a bite. Can't you share? Geesh! So selfish keeping your mega hotdog to yourself. :(

Everything is megasized in Ikea. Just went to the one in Ottawa recently and found it like an African safari trekking through there. Quite the adventure.

Masshole Mommy said...

Hahahahaha - that hangs in our local Ikea, too. Sad that they have to put such an absurd disclaimer on the sign.

Too funny!!

LOL! Good one!

Haha love signs like this. But my favorite is the sign at the Alligator Farm that says "No swimming" then one right behind it a sign that says "Alligators present". Well I would hope so since I paid 12 bucks a piece to see some alligators but man the bath suits make us look like fools now.

I've dreamed of a cheeseburger that big. But you'd need a giraffe-sized bottle of Tums after that dog.

Did I mention I've dreamed of cheeseburgers that big?

Petro said...

Haha, you got me for a moment, I actually thought it will be a real size one. Imagine de feast :)
I would expect that from Ikea :)

Unknown said...

LOL that would be one big hot dog!! This is brilliant.

I bet the cardiologists of the world wish that hot dogs were that size!

Unknown said...

LMAO. I wonder if they put that disclaimer in their catalogue too? Otherwise, people might think that their furniture is doll-house size.

Unknown said...

So funny! I'll have to look for that sign next time I'm at IKEA!

Indrani said...

Yes, otherwise slightly misleading. :)
