Hurry. Hurry. Post each day.
We post each day until it's May.
I done it once,
I done it twice,
I definitely have done it thrice.
Maybe I've even done it four.
It's got me shouting, "No more! No more!"
It's not that A to Z isn't fun.
It's a game to be played by everyone.
However, now that I've had my fun each year.
The time has come to make it clear . . .
I'm done.
It's hard to believe on my first year,
Daily April posting was so dear.
I had so much fun that I must say,
I posted Z - A in May.
I guess I'm getting older, folks.
Not enough time to read your jokes.
To not visit another blog,
makes me feel like an A-Z hog.
So my mind's made up on this day,
I'm through with this April game to play.
If next year I should sign the list,
STOP ME!

Was thinking of getting back into blogging and then I remembered... oh yeah, it's April. Congrats on finishing!
Wonderful poem. I actually still find it fun, so I will probably do it again next year.
Nice poem! And yes, i know what you mean about not having enough time to read everyone's posts. It can get overwhelming.
HA! I love that poem.
because as a READER -- it's been an exhausting month. my email folder quadrupled due to all the blogs I follow who were doing A-Z and posting every day. Not that I don't love reading y'all - I do! but I feel us readers should also get some kind of badge for surviving also. LOL
Great poem! The challenge is a toughie!!
Step away from the challenge!
It is a lot of work, and you did great with it! :)
TY for the heads up on my newsletter. The last one that came to my e-mail was on 3/25, but someone else who contacted me told me she gets hers sporadically now instead of daily. Silly newsletter. And I can't get in touch w/anyone to fix it. :/ phft
Wishing you a fun or relaxing weekend (whichever sounds better). :)
Cathy, catchy poem! I agree...midway through the challenge, I ask myself, "Why am I doing this!"
For me, it was a good way to get back into blogging again. Next year, I'll stop you from signing up, if you stop me. Deal? ;-)
You deserve to kick your feet up with a nice cold drink for completing the challenge! Way to go! But maybe it's kind of like having babies. You forget how much work they are, and a year later you are ready to do it again. We'll see what tune you are singing April next year :)
Haha great! That's how I felt after my first year (last year ). No way I could have done it again. Great job!
