Wordless Wednesday - Cake in the Rain
Buy One At Kroger!
Someone left the cake out in the rain. I don't think that I can take it, 'cause it took so long to bake it, and I'll never have that recipe again. Oh, noooooooo!
I think I just gained five pounds looking at that picture. Unless, of course the rain washes away the calories. LOL - Happy Wordless Wednesday, you won't gain weight from my photo choice this week.
That song is so funny when you really listen to it!!! What a treat to find your site, I found you on VoiceBoks and am so glad I did!! I'm now a happy follower! Take care!!
I will follow anyone who follows me (provided you don't have an adult content warning or objectionable material), but I'm having trouble finding sites. Please leave a link to your blog if you want me to visit/follow.
What a fun post to come across! Hope you were able to enjoy at least a bite of cake. Now following. Stop on by http://artisticcomposition.blogspot.com/ anytime.
So strange....I left a comment this morning, but there is no record....sigh....all I wanted to tell you is that someone left the cake out on our counter, and now it's gone. Hmmm? Just like my comment. Coincidence? I think not! Now, I must go back to humming that lovely little ditty about cake and rain.
I googled the goofy thing. It's about a love gone wrong--so why don't they just say it instead of making up a cake metaphor that no one gets? Creative license gone too far!
No wonder it's about love gone wrong if the cake was left out in the rain. No respect for the baker and all the baker's trust crushed. Thanks for stopping by for WW. :-)

No cake ever deserves to be left out in the rain, no matter how bad it may be for you.

That song used to baffle me silly when I was a kid. lol. I remember always thinking, "Why???? Are they singing about a cake?? Why??"
Not sure if it's ever been cleared up. ;)
Mmm....I love fresh fruit on cake. Thanks for stopping by :)
I think they call that cake abuse.

I usually run as fast as I can past the cake displays. It is safer that way or I ll be tempted to get one
Such a great song! And I'm with Marina. Run away, run far, far away!
If someone left my cake out in the rain, there would be some fighting.LOL I do love cake. Thanks for stopping by.
I've not heard either of these songs in years. The first one was a big favorite of mine. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
Have a terrific day. :)
