#AtoZ : I am Not Spoilt!
This morning, my middle child posted a Facebook Buzz Feed Article called, Were You A Spoilt Child? Readers are asked to tick off everything they owned from Slip 'N Slides to a Darts Board. At the end of the test, the post will tell you whether or not you were spoiled. The following conversation ensued:
Did you? Probably not...my youngest sister, now, she had a million things, but everyone knows my mom loved ME the most. I was her little appendix attack. choke choke choke. I was also the first out of , uh...11? 12? Too many to count? Yes, that's it!
I had one of those fashion plates! I got it for Christmas one year and loved it! I could draw before I could write or read, so I loved the fashion plates and the art I could create with them. ♥
Hi--trying to visit a few new blogs on the A to Z list tonight. I think it was Arlee, or maybe Alex, who pointed to you as having one of the good humor blogs. I like laughing, and grinning, and chuckling, and guffawing, and all that stuff.
I had none of these, but then I live d in India! ;) I must report now that Barbie has completely invaded India, many Americans take Indian Barbies back home because of the Indian costumes!
Loved those Fashion Plates that are in the photo, and the conversation following is great. I think we can chalk that up to being older and trying to remember the past? :)

I had 9 even though I'm much too old for the test!

Huh? I had 32 pairs of shoes.
I was an only child.
that probably answers the question right there.
And I did have those fashion plates! I just bought a set for my daughters birthday too.

I had about 3.. but the things they posted were for people who are about 26 and under in the main, so not really a fair test for a 55 year old!
Plus - I think you can be spoiled materially, but not irrevocably as long as you are taught the value of things and not the cost...

Nice blog, Kathy and your child is funny! :D
lol at their sense of humor. :)
LOL Nothing like a little sibling rivalry. As an only child, I was definitely spoiled.
We had a slip and slide and a dart board. I guess I am with Erica :)
I wonder if I am spoiled? Guess I need to take the test to find out.

No, Margo. It's the youngest one messing with her sibs!
